Hebrews 12

Free to RUN!!!

Hebrews 12

In the weeks that have passed since School began you have been on a journey with your Devos. We compared this to a race, a race that you have got to be ready to run and remain on the right course to have success. As we finish out this month we want you to be able to press on towards the prize which God has called you to. We want you to be able to recognize when you are being held back by something, someone or yourself. This week is going to take some effort from you as you need to have some quiet moments of self reflection. Moments with GOD! These kind of times can make you and break you to be what God would have you to be…..What is that you ask? Well He (GOD) would have you be a LIGHT on this earth for Jesus Christ…..He (GOD) would have you be SALT to those who you come into contact with. Now that you are focused…..let’s get serious with God.

Read over these Bible verses Monday through Friday. You can read as many of the verses as you would like to each day. The questions that follow will guide you through as you ask God to show you His plan for your life. Any questions?   Just message us on Facebook. Finish up your week with the video we will post each Friday. We’ve got your whole week covered!

Philippians 4:4-6, Matthew 6:25-34, Matthew 6:14-15, Colossians 3:13, Ephesians 4:31-32, Job 42:10, I John 1:5-10, James 5:13-20

Thoughts for the week:

  1. Prayer: Letting go of worries

Prayer is a powerful tool. Have you learned to use it yet? Read over the verses and get in the habit of praying to your Father.

  1. Forgiveness: Letting go of wounds

Holding on to things that should have let go a long time ago will destroy you. Start cleaning house with God this week and begin to NOT let the past drag you backwards.

  1. Confession: Letting go of wrongs

Learning to forgive is truly a gift from God. When we can release someone or something with forgiveness it liberates you to run this race with FREEDOM.

Bonus: Share with us on Facebook any area that you gained victory in this week. Your victories will encourage your camp family.
